Skelton Family

I had the opportunity to take the Skelton's yearly family pictures again this year. We headed up to Red Top mountain and we were able to take advantage of the last of the fall leaves. These are some amazing people and I am so glad to know them. I love all the rustic colors and the cool barn pictures. hope you enjoy them too.

Baby R - 6 Month Old Photoshoot

So happy to be able to share these with you. Baby R has been a camera favorite of mine since day one on her newborn shoot. She makes my job easy and so much fun. Look at all the cool new things she is learning to do... push ups, grabbing her cute adorable toes, smiling! I finally got a great look and her adorable baby blues. 6 months is my favorite age to shoot. The shoots are fun and simple but they definitely are the most rewarding. Pop them on a blanket, then turn them on their backs and be camera ready, because they start grabbing their for their toes. It is so much fun being able to pop in every few months and see how much this cute little has grown. I can't wait to see what 6 month will bring.

R and G- Cousins

I took a few pictures of my adorable niece R, for my sister-in-law with the cousins on her side of the family. My little girl G tagged along to "help me out". Here are a few picture of these two cuties that I grabbed.

Vite Wedding

Being able to watch the beginning of a couple's life together is just about the most perfect part of my job. What could be better... Beautiful day, perfect location, and a wonderful couple.  This is a wedding a shot back in August, which means it was hot! Like REALLY hot, but now that I get around to posting them and updating my blog, what I remember the most was how wonderful the family was and how great it was watching them dance, You could tell how much they all loved each other, and it really reflected in the pictures. So glad I was able to capture these special moments! They truly are the reason behind my name. These moments captured on film(digital) will be cherished for a long time to come, and I hope I was able to do them justice.

Petersen Sisters!!

I love being a part of capturing memories. I have had the opportunity several times to take pictures of these beautiful baby girls. I've been able to watch and see how there personalities have developed. They were so happy and silly during this session. They definitely turned on the charm for my camera. I literal just kept snapping away. They gave me all that I needed and more in less than 30 minutes. These are my best friends littles! Looking back at our memories together I can't believe how different our lives have become. Lets see where we are in 10 more years!

Baby Girl R {3 month session}

So I'm not going to lie I am always nervous about taking picture of babies between 3 & 5 months old. They still aren't doing much. They aren't sleepy newborns, and it is usually difficult to get them to focus on you. Plus as an added bonus babies at this age tend to be afraid of strangers  and especially cameras. Typically I can get a good 30 minutes before the babies are over it. But I shouldn't have even been worried. Baby R was one of my favorite newborn sessions. She was a perfect sleeping baby during her entire newborns, and her 3 months weren't any different. We went outside for a few pictures, and came inside for a few snugly blanket shots. Baby R decided it was nap time and gave me tons of sleepy 3 month old shots. I actually had to try and wake her up so that we could get a few more with her beautiful blue eyes showing. Loved this session. I got to try out a few new things and enjoyed working with the 35mm lens.

Sears Wedding

I had the opportunity to photograph Kirsten and Brad's wedding earlier this month. All I have to say is sometimes you just get this feeling when you are around a newly wed couple. A feeling that you know that there is true love in the world and you get the unique opportunity to capture it for all time in photographs. Brad and Kirsten were a wonderful couple with an amazing family. They both had tons of support and love surrounding them. There reception was beautiful and you could really see how hard everyone worked to put together an amazing day for Kirsten and Brad. Congratulations, may your love continue through eternity.
