Baby Girl R {3 month session}

So I'm not going to lie I am always nervous about taking picture of babies between 3 & 5 months old. They still aren't doing much. They aren't sleepy newborns, and it is usually difficult to get them to focus on you. Plus as an added bonus babies at this age tend to be afraid of strangers  and especially cameras. Typically I can get a good 30 minutes before the babies are over it. But I shouldn't have even been worried. Baby R was one of my favorite newborn sessions. She was a perfect sleeping baby during her entire newborns, and her 3 months weren't any different. We went outside for a few pictures, and came inside for a few snugly blanket shots. Baby R decided it was nap time and gave me tons of sleepy 3 month old shots. I actually had to try and wake her up so that we could get a few more with her beautiful blue eyes showing. Loved this session. I got to try out a few new things and enjoyed working with the 35mm lens.

Sears Wedding

I had the opportunity to photograph Kirsten and Brad's wedding earlier this month. All I have to say is sometimes you just get this feeling when you are around a newly wed couple. A feeling that you know that there is true love in the world and you get the unique opportunity to capture it for all time in photographs. Brad and Kirsten were a wonderful couple with an amazing family. They both had tons of support and love surrounding them. There reception was beautiful and you could really see how hard everyone worked to put together an amazing day for Kirsten and Brad. Congratulations, may your love continue through eternity.

Happy 4th Birthday Gracie

This is late posting but it has been a crazy fun summer....

I decided to wait until our beach trip to take Gracie's birthday pictures at the beach. It was fun having a new location. now here is a bit about my little girl...

Gracie is my little firecracker. She know what she wants and nothing and no one will change her mind. She is girly, sassy and protective of her family. She has such a funny imagination. I catch he playing with her dolls and it is so fun to watch what she comes up with. She became my little tagalong this year; now that her older brother is in school. She loves to go to the gym with me and run errands all day long. She is my little helper and is (mostly) willing to help me around the house. I am excited to see what this year will bring. Love you Gracie Girl!

Kendall and Tyler

I was able to get out and take a few pictures over the weekend of my good friend's Daughter and her soon to be hubby. Kendall and Tyler decided to do more of a couples bridal session, and I have to say it was fun and took the stress away because we were able to spend time and didn't have to rush because it was the wedding day. Hope you enjoy; Tyler and Kendall I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Mcleod Family

      I grew up in Georgia and then moved away to go to school for college, got married, had a baby, and then moved back to my home state. I start with all of this because... I was so lucky enough to gain a great friend when I moved back. The beautiful woman in the pictures below is one of my great friends! We knew of each other growing up but we were never in the same "circles" I guess you could say. Our boys are the same age and are great friends also. It only took me 4 long years to get them behind my camera, and it was worth it. Leah and her hubby just celebrated 10 years of marriage!! I won't go into details (beacause I could rave about her for a while) but Leah is one of the strongest and bravest people I know. She is such a great person to be around, her and her family both! Baby Girl R { Newborn Session}

I couldn't have lucked out on a more patient sleepy baby! I had the opportunity to take this sweet baby girl's newborn session last week. She is the perfect little angle. You can just tell how happy and content she is. I can't wait to go back at 3 months and see how much she has grown! Hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

 

 

Baby Girl {Morris}

What a great day I had today! I was able to see my good friend and take pictures of her sweet little girl Emma. Emma was so adorable all wrapped up and sleeping when I arrived. She soon showed me who was in charge. After a few accidents and a lot of wipes later. Emma's Dad swooped in and put her right to sleep. We were able to get several great shots of the sweet baby girl. I am a big fan of her in her baby cocoon and the one with her big sisters. Loved being able to take her pictures and spend the day with a great friend.
